Drive-Thru Holiday Food Bash Hosted by the Arizona State Fair
The State Fair may have been canceled this year due to COVID, but you can still enjoy the tasty food that it has to offer!
Mark your calendars and plan to attend the tasty upcoming Ho-Ho Holiday Fair Food Drive-Thru at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.
Fair officials announced the admission-free special event is scheduled Dec. 10-13 and Dec. 17-20, Thursdays-Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and noon to 10 p.m. weekends.
Fairgoers looking to indulge in the tasty treats can stay on the fairgrounds property to eat or take their treats home, but everyone must remain in their vehicles at all times while on-site.
The fairgrounds located at McDowell Road and 19th Avenue in Phoenix hosted a state fair drive-thru food tasting in the fall, and it was heavily attended.
Menu items for the holiday version include gingerbread funnel cakes, candy cane cotton candy, deep-fried egg nog and, turkey legs.
The fair website plans to update its site with more available treats and a map soon.
The drive-thru will also double as a charity event, as part of the Great American Milk Drive. Anyone who brings a receipt of $5 or more for milk donated to the campaign to the drive-thru will receive an insulated mug and recipes for hot chocolate.
