Scottsdale Fire has kicked off their Annual Toy Drive to help families in the community.

The department is accepting unwrapped toys and gift cards at all of the Scottsdale Fire Department stations and headquarters through Dec. 22.

“These donations help make the holiday season a little brighter for many families, especially this year with the challenges of the pandemic,” says Scottsdale Fire Chief Tom Shannon. “We appreciate the generosity of this community!”

Donations are distributed to partner organizations who serve families in need.  Yearly, 15,000 toys are collected through the toy drive, serving well over 1,000 families.

These agencies include:

  • Paiute Neighborhood Center
  • HonorHealth at Shea, Osborn and Thompson Peak
  • Family Promise
  • Arizona Helping Hands
  • Arizona Burn Foundation

If you have an organization or company that would like to collect toys for the season, send an email to [email protected].
