A new ranking of the most expensive ZIP codes in America is out and Paradise Valley is Arizona’s lone town to make the cut.

The town’s ZIP code (85253) lands at 52nd on real estate research firm RealtyHop’s ranking, with a median home price of $2,299,000.

Arizona’s western neighbor California had 68 ZIP codes included in the top 100, with the Bay Area town of Atherton taking the cake as the most expensive ZIP code in America, with an average list price of $8,650,000.

New York had the next-highest number of ZIP codes on the list, with 20, followed by New Jersey, which has three included.

Florida is the only other state with more than one ZIP code on the list, with two, including the Miami-area community of Fisher Island, which finished second overall, at $6,500,000.

RealtyHop’s survey found that 11 states contained the 100 most expensive ZIP codes, with Los Angeles having the most per city, with 10 making the list.

New York City had the second-most per city, with six ZIP codes making the list.

The newest survey by the research firm was released on Monday. The firm pulled more than 3.2 million listings between Jan. 1 and Oct. 9, according to a company press release.

The survey calculated median housing prices based on sales involving condos, coops, houses, multifamily dwellings, townhouses and triplexes, according to the release.

The company did not include any listings that were purely land sales.
