Fans of the Phoenix Art Museum will soon be able to visit the recently reopened facility for less than $10 a month.

That’s the pitch for the museum’s new monthly subscription plan, which costs between $6 and $9 per month, depending on the number of memberships needed. The normal general admission fee for the museum is $23.

The museum will reopen to members on Oct. 1, after shutting down in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in mid-March.

Non-members will once again have access to the museum on Oct. 14.

Besides the city’s face mask-wearing mandate and social distancing norms, the museum is taking additional steps to address the virus, including cash-free admission, groups being limited to 10 people and masks requirements for all visitors.

The new monthly membership program allows unlimited general admission visits to the museum, including during special events and exhibitions.

Members also receive discounted or free tickets to any performances, films, seminars and activities held at the facility, plus discounts at the museum store.

The $6 per month membership plan covers a single person, while the $8 per month option covers the aforementioned perks for two adults.

The $9 per month deal covers admission for two adults and anyone age 17 or younger, while also including the other perks.

Art lovers looking to give a little bit more can do so by purchasing a Patron’s Circle Membership, which costs $125 per month.

That plan includes membership to the Museum’s Circles of Support program, which grants members the chance to see exhibitions before they open to the general public.

That membership level also gives members access to well-known artists, scholars and various movers and shakers in the arts community.

All patrons will receive a digital membership card in lieu of a printed one, according to the museum.
