JCPenney Announces Closure Of Three Arizona Stores As Part Of Restructuring

On Thursday, JCPenney announced plans to close 154 stores nationwide as part of their restructuring. In May, the retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing the economic downfall from the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are three stores in Arizona that are scheduled to be closed. The stores are located in Cottonwood, Phoenix, and Tucson.

All impacted associates will be treated with the utmost  consideration and respect.”
