Tell the President and Congress to Invest in Arizona Infrastructure
Funding for infrastructure in Arizona has decreased drastically due to the COVID-19 crisis. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic will require an infusion of federal funds to aid in the effort to stabilize state and local economies. The significant return on investment will help create near-term economic recovery, jobs and long-term growth.
Congress is currently considering another package to overcome the financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Arizonans can make sure infrastructure investment is part of it.
The next package congress is considering includes adequate funding to ensure all federal, state, regional, county and municipal infrastructure programs are held harmless from transportation revenue losses, and that such funding has flexibility enabling it to be directed according to state, regional and local priorities including maintenance.
As congress continues to deliberate COVID-19 relief, please tell President Trump and Arizona’s congressional delegation to prioritize infrastructure investment in the next package. Click on the link below to simply submit the pre-written message to President Trump and your members of Congress.
