Fitzgerald Announces He is Returning To Cardinals For The 2020 Season

Birdgang rejoice! It is official, Larry is returning! Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that Larry Fitzgerald will return to the team for the 2020 season.

The Arizona Cardinals announced that the wide receiver signed a one-year contract extension. The 2020 season will mark Fitzgerald’s 17th season with the Arizona Cardinals.

Fitzgerald has set many records in his career as a Cardinal. Fitzgerald is the Cardinals franchise career leader in games played (250), receptions (1,378), receiving yards (17,083), receiving touchdowns (120), total touchdowns (120) and 100-yard games (49).

In December, Fitzgerald was honored as one of 10 wide receivers named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team. The only active player in the group, Fitzgerald joined nine Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees on the NFL 100 All-Time Team.
