What You Need To Know About The 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open

Known as one of the premiere spring events in the Valley of the Sun, the 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open is just a few weeks away and will likely once again draw thousands of people to Arizona, setting attendance records.

Known as “The People’s Open” and “The Greatest Show on Grass,” the PGA tournament is known for its famous coliseum-style 16th Hole, lively atmosphere, outdoor concerts, and the Annexus Pro-Am, which pairs professional golfers with high-profile athletes and celebrities.

Make sure you know everything there is to know about the whole event, from general admission, discounts and parking, to nightly concerts and celebrity appearances.

General Admission
Free Admission on Monday and Tuesday courtesy of Ford Free Days.
Ages 17 & under are free when accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are also available at the gate.
Weekly sponsor packages available.

Military and First Responders
All First Responders and Active, Reserve and Retired Military get free admission with one accompanying individual.

11:00 a.m. — San Tan Ford Special Olympics Open
Located at the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course Putting Green, the Special Olympics Open features Special Olympian athletes, celebrities or sports stars and business leaders from the community. The event is open to all ticket holders and media and lasts about an hour.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29

3:30 p.m. — Phoenix Suns Charities Shot at Glory, TPC Scottsdale 16th hole
3:30 p.m. — Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens

THURSDAY, JANUARY 30
7:30 a.m. — Waste Management Phoenix Open 1st round
3:30 p.m. — Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens

FRIDAY, JANUARY 31
7:30 a.m. — Waste Management Phoenix Open 2nd round
3:30 p.m. — Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opens

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1
9:00 a.m. — Waste Management Phoenix Open 3rd round

ALL DAY GREEN OUT – EVERYBODY IS ENCOURAGED TO WEAR GREEN TO SUPPORT THE GREEN/ECO-SENSITIVE EFFORTS OF THE TOURNAMENT.

PARKING AND DIRECTIONS
FREE Public Parking (with shuttle access to the tournament gates)

Free Public Parking is available in Lot H located at Loop 101 and Hayden Road. We recommend that Loop 101 drivers exit at Hayden, and drive south into Lot H.

The FREE shuttles from Lot H will operate Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm; Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm; and Sunday from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.

FREE Public Parking is also available Wednesday through Saturday at WestWorld in Lot W located at 94th Street and Bell Road. We recommend that drivers exit Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., drive north to Bell Road, turn east to 94th street, and south into Lot W.

The FREE shuttles from Lot W lot will operate Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm; and Sunday from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.  There is no shuttle service from Lot W on Monday and Tuesday

COORS LIGHT BIRDS NEST

The Phoenix Coors Light Birds Nest is a completely different animal of festivities during the Phoenix Open and one that has become a popular hot spot to continue the celebration throughout the evening.

The Nest is a 21-and-over event, located directly across from the main entrance of the WM Phoenix Open at 82nd St and Bell Rd.
