OpenTable’s Best Arizona Restaurants Of 2019

Four high-end Arizona restaurants have been named to OpenTable’s year-end listing of the top 100 restaurants in America.

All four Arizona restaurants named in the ranking — Kai, the signature restaurant at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass hotel, Steak 48 in Phoenix, and its sister concept, Ocean 44, in Scottsdale, and Cafe Monarch in Scottsdale — have all been featured in one or more OpenTable listings over the years.

For this particular list — Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2019 — OpenTable said it relied on the more than 12 million reviews of 30,000 restaurants from verified diners. The reviews were collected from Oct. 1, 2018 – Sept. 20, 2019.

To be eligible, restaurants had to be part of OpenTable’s network for at least 12 months, have a minimum overall rating and an unspecified number of “qualifying reviews,” which were then ranked and sorted.

California had 22 restaurants listed. Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania each had seven. Illinois had six. Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington D.C. each had four restaurants.
