Arizona Secretary of State’s Office Launches Voter Information Website
There’s a new way for Arizonans to keep track of their registration and find other election-related information.
The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office announced that it has launched the Arizona Voter Information Portal.
“We updated our statewide voter registration system to increase security and efficiency for counties across the state,” Secretary of State Katie Hobbs said in a press release.
“Voters will now also have access to helpful tools to assist them before, during and after an election.”
The portal is in conjunction with the new Arizona Voter Information Database.
The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office and recorders and elections directors in the state’s 15 counties have completed their transition to the new database after years of testing and preparation, the release said.
Visitors to the new portal can search for their voter registration, request early ballots, verify provisional and early ballot status and find polling locations. They can also use the website to submit petition and public records requests and respond to election-related mailings.
The portal also provides links to three other election-related services:
- The Arizona Candidate Portal, where candidates for federal, statewide and legislative offices can upload nomination paperwork.
- E-Qual, where voters can sign nominating petitions.
- The Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Portal, where military members and citizens outside the U.S. can register to vote and request early ballots.
