The Best Fast Food Chain In Arizona Named

Eegee’s, the beloved sandwich and frozen drink stop in the Tucson community has been named the best fast food chain in Arizona by FoodandWine.com.

Eegee’s was locally owned for 47 years, only being sold last year to a New York Investment firm. They are best known for their grinders and frozen shaved ices with real fruit bits.

Even though it was named the best in the state, there is no Eegee’s in the Phoenix area. Expansion has been teased in the past, but never came to fruition. This could very well change though now that the company has been taken over by new owners.

Additional notable fast food chains named as best fast food chains in other states included In n Out, Shake Shack, Culver’s, and Raising Cane’s.

Eegee’s has 24 locations currently, all of them being in Arizona. They are an essential part of Arizonian culture.
