Another popular retail store chain has joined the war with Amazon and Walmart to get you merchandise as soon as possible.

Target is now offering same-day delivery. But that quick delivery will cost you. Target will charge a fee of $9.99 per order. The popular retailer’s website now includes Shipt, a delivery startup it purchased two years ago. Previously, shoppers had to pay a $99 annual membership fee or a $14 monthly membership fee on Shipt’s website if they wanted same-day delivery.

Target’s new same-day delivery can apply to 65,000 items, and shoppers can apply their 5 percent discount if they use Target’s loyalty card.

A press release stated that customers may receive their order in as soon as an hour.

“With same-day delivery now available directly within the Target.com experience, we’ve made it even easier for our guests to shop at Target—while still getting the great value, curated product assortment and helpful guest service they’ve come to expect,” said Dawn Block, Target’s senior vice president of digital.

The announcement is a bid to compete with Walmart, who recently rolled out next-day delivery, which requires a minimum order of $35. Walmart’s next-day delivery does not require a membership and includes 220,000 items for those who live in Phoenix and Las Vegas. They plan to expand to 75 percent of U.S. customers by December.

Amazon has also upgraded its shipping options. Those who are subscribed to Amazon Prime receive free one-day delivery. They have stated that the one-day shipping applies to countless items, and they are adding hundreds every day.
