The last few months have been a whirlwind with so much community support. On May 18 you showed up to meet our reporters and enjoy an afternoon of fun at Hula’s Modern Tiki.

You gave us story ideas, asked questions and shared our articles with friends and family. As we settle into our new routine of bringing you community news we wanted to dive a little deeper and give you some of the background behind why we started The UM.
